Traditionally, Property Management was – and often still is – a secondary business within real estate offices and Property Managers were not receiving the support from management, as management themselves lacked any formal training and hands on knowledge about this part of the industry.

Rentals West was created out of a need to ensure property management was at the focus of the business so that the best systems, procedures, and property care is taken with managing our clients’ largest asset to benefit them in later life, and we have been doing so successfully for the past 17 years in the western suburbs of Brisbane.
Today we offer you 3 dedicated, highly qualified and experienced Property Managers, a dedicated New Business Manager, a Friendly Administrator/Receptionist and General Manager with the added bonus of the owners being directly involved in the day-to-day functions of the company.

Karen Chisari (Director)  Our owner has hands on knowledge and experience in the day to day happenings of Property Management. Karen is heavily involved in all facets of property management and utilises her great negotiation skills in getting top dollar for your property.

Lucas Chisari (Office Manager) – Lucas has worked under the tutoring of Karen for many years and performed several different roles in this time. With his strong sales and marketing acumen he assists our clients in positioning properties at the right price to attract the best investment return and tenants. With his company and legislative knowledge, he is also able to assist with any query or problems clients have.

Robyn Cailes (Senior Property Manager) – is our Senior property manager with a strong background in western suburb property management. Robyn is an excellent communicator and prides herself on keeping her clients informed, so accurate decisions can be made in the best interest of her clients. Communication with all stake holders also ensure quick and effective resolutions to any issues that arise in day to day management. Robyn is also very pro-active regarding maintenance and property refurbishment to ensure properties achieve their maximum rent in the market place and the best capital gains possible.

Sue Clark (Portfolio Manager) – Sue has joined our team with over 7 years of real estate industry experience and is well equipped to handle all risks that arise in managing investment properties. Having run management rights businesses and providing support to industry colleagues, Sue has a very hands on approach and a clear understanding of generating investor returns. Her keen eye for details and high standards of properties ensures tenants and owners are promptly advised of any possible issues and corrective action is quickly actioned.

Samantha Simpson (Trainee Property Manager) – Sam is the friendly voice at the end of the phone answering incoming calls and co-ordinates a large portion of the office daily administration duties, as well as organising all viewings of properties for lease. Sam is currently completing her real estate certification and embarking on becoming a full time property manager. Her commitment and enthusiasm ensures our clients achieve their investment goals and requirements are addressed promptly.

Kym Sherlock (Trainee Property Manager) – Kym has recently joined our team after undertaking work place training with us on the weekends. With a strong background in administration and a strong focus on the small things her focus is to assist our clients first and foremost. In the very early stages of her real estate training, Kym will assist the portfolio managers in their day to day tasks as she prepares to become a key team player in assisting our clients lease their properties to the best possible tenants.
